IGT has secured a deal with the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) for 720 Sierra27 video lottery terminals in 2026, marking a continuation of their collaboration. This move aims to enhance player experiences and support the Canadian gaming market.
In a significant development for the gaming industry, IGT has announced that its subsidiary, IGT Canada Solutions Limited, will supply an additional 720 Sierra27 video lottery terminals (VLTs) to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) in 2026. This agreement highlights IGT's ongoing commitment to providing innovative gaming solutions in Canada.
This recent agreement marks the second consecutive year that IGT has been selected through WCLC's competitive VLT procurement process. WCLC plays a crucial role in managing lottery and gaming activities across six provinces and territories in Canada. Eric Karmark, Vice President of VLT Gaming & Operations at WCLC, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. He stated,

The Sierra27 VLT is designed with player comfort and serviceability in mind. Each terminal boasts two high-definition 27-inch screens, a 13.3-inch player panel equipped with dual bash buttons, and a wireless inductive charger. The terminal is also supported by a diverse library of games, including popular titles such as Big City 5’s Diamond, Tiki Tiki Tiki Mayhem, and Cash Climb Garden of Hesperides, all tailored specifically for Canadian players.
