Stake Launches Online Casino and Sportsbook in Mexico
Stake has officially launched its online casino and sportsbook in Mexico, strategically timed ahead of the upcoming World Cup. The Easygo brand operates under a permit-based structure regulated by SEGOB, the Ministry of Interior, acting as an agent under Uno Capali’s licensing agreement.
With Mexico set to co-host the World Cup alongside the US and Canada, this launch comes on the heels of Stake's recent expansions in Latin America, particularly in Colombia and Peru.
Latin American Expansion for Stake
Jarrod Febbraio, a director at Stake, expressed enthusiasm about the Mexican market, stating, “Mexico is an important and exciting market for us—one that combines strong underlying growth with a deep cultural connection to sport, which aligns perfectly with what Stake is built for.”
He further elaborated on the company’s trajectory in Latin America, saying, “We’ve built significant momentum across Latin America in recent years, including in markets such as Peru and Colombia. Mexico represents a natural next step given its scale and long-term potential.”
Febbraio highlighted the significance of the World Cup in 2026, noting, “With Mexico set to co-host the football World Cup tournament, the timing of this launch reflects our ability to move with precision into high-value markets at the right moment.” He emphasized the opportunity to establish a robust presence ahead of one of the biggest sporting events globally, aiming to deliver a world-class experience for Mexican players.
Note:
Stake's expansion into Mexico is seen as a strategic move to capitalize on the growing online gaming market in the region.
For more exciting developments, Easygo Games has launched to unify Stake's content suppliers, further enhancing the player experience.
